Pamela PeraltaPartner
Pamela has always been drawn to work that makes a real difference in people’s lives. As part of Peralta Plank Law Firm, she focuses on operational strategy, helping ensure that clients receive the care and advocacy they deserve.
Her path to law was shaped by dedication and a deep love of learning. While continuing to work, she pursued her law degree through an executive program at Mitchell Hamline School of Law in Minnesota, earning her degree summa cum laude. She completed the program in just 2.5 years, balancing a scholarship every year and maintaining a place on the Dean’s List each semester. While she’s grateful for those accomplishments, what has mattered most to her is the opportunity to use that education to help people through difficult times.
Pamela has been working in personal injury law since 2016, gaining hands-on experience in case management, legal strategy, and client advocacy. With a background in finance and business, she’s able to approach cases with a practical mindset, helping clients navigate complex claims with confidence and clarity.
Before pursuing law, Pamela earned a degree in International Business and Languages from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, where she was actively involved in student leadership. She was fortunate to receive a scholarship from the Government of the Netherlands each year and an Erasmus Scholarship that allowed her to study at the Paris Graduate School of Management.
She started her career in banking, working as a Junior Assets and Liabilities Manager and earning certifications in Financial Markets and Derivative Instruments. While she appreciated the fast-paced nature of finance, she found herself drawn to law, where she could use her skills to make a more direct impact on people’s lives.
A proud Costa Rican, Pamela is a native Spanish speaker, fluent in English and Dutch, and conversational in French and Portuguese—a skill set that has been invaluable in working with clients from diverse backgrounds.
At her core, Pamela believes in working hard, staying curious, and always putting people first. Whether helping clients navigate legal challenges or improving firm operations, she approaches every task with care, integrity, and a commitment to doing the right thing.
